Dear Supplier,
As you know, Ethics and responsible business conduct are at the heart of all our activities and at Kering a strong Culture of Integrity underpins our success.
In 2019, the Kering Code of ethics has been updated and circulated to all, both our employees and our suppliers, to make sure everybody understands what is expected about ethics and compliance, what are our shared values, what is acceptable and what is forbidden.
Upholding every day the highest ethical standards in our activities, whatever our role and responsibilities may be, is not an option, and violation of our ethical principles leads to the termination of business relationship.
Our Code of ethics provides a clear framework and strong guidelines on the fight against corruption, fraud, conflict of interest, the promotion of ethical working conditions and a diverse and inclusive workplace for all, but also our strong respect for the natural environment and the need to build a sustainable future for the next generations.
Additionally, our Code of Ethics also describes what the Kering Alert System is made for and how it works : it is open to all our employees and all our direct suppliers for them to report, safely and confidentially, any suspicion or concern they may have about a violation of our Code of ethics and all its key ethical principles.
This professional worldwide grievance mechanism is open to you and your employees.
Kering, along with all the CEOs of the Group’s Houses, would like to ask you today to circulate this information to all your employees on sites, so that they all know the existence of this Alert System, why, when and how to use it.
For that purpose, we have developed a very easy-to-use and straightforward set of communication:
- A two-sided flyer document to be circulated to your employees,
- A one-page poster to be displayed in the appropriate location(s) of your buildings (locker rooms, canteen, workshop …etc.).
You will find two documents in 15 possible languages[1].
If you are facing any technical difficulty accessing the website or if you have any question, you can write to ethics-alert-system@kering.com for further help and guidance.
This initiative is fully endorsed by all Kering Houses’ CEOs and we count on you to organize as soon as possible the display of this information. The appropriate level of dissemination among your employees will be assessed during our auditing process along the year.
Best regards,
The Kering Group Ethics Committee
